The Human Rights Commission to host investigative hearing in Eldorado Park



The South African Human Rights Commission will be hosting a public investigative hearing in Eldorado Park after allegations of inequality and marginalization in the area. The hearing is scheduled to take place from October 10 – 13 and the venue is yet to be confirmed. Eldos FM spoke to Buang Jones, the provincial manager of the human rights commission.


Request for support at court hearing of late Adel

 

The murder case of Adel Fisher Peters is to be heard at Lenasia court on Oct 4th at 09:00 am. Adel was murdered in May this year in Eldorado park after visiting her mother on mother's day. The community is encouraged to support the family at the Lenasia court this Wednesday. Adel is said to leave behind her husband, son, mom and three siblings. Eldos fm spoke to a concerned resident recently who claims that various murders have been committed in that area

Adel Fisher- Peters murder case postponed.

The murder case of Adel Fisher Peters has been postponed to November 3rd. This comes after Adel was murdered in  May this year in Eldorado Park after visiting her mother on mother's day. Adel is survived by her husband, son, mom and three siblings. The suspect is alleged to be a known criminal.

Alleged inequity in Klipspruit to be addressed

 

 

A public investigative hearing will be held in Eldorado park by the South African Human Rights Commission. This follows alleged marginalization and inequity in the community. The hearing is scheduled to be taking place as of October 10th to the 13th, the venue is however yet to be confirmed.

4 year old finally laid to rest




The funeral of 4 year old Shaynice Chesnay Talla is taking place today at the Body of Christ Church, Boundary Road, in Eldorado Park. The body of the 4 year old was discovered in a storm water drain, after she went missing on The Koppie in Extension 2, Eldorado Park, and was later discovered as deceased on Wednesday, September 27th.

The 4 year old who went missing and was later discovered as deceased on Wednesday evening.

According to reports the little girl disappeared initiating a search by community leaders and community members to find the four year old. Eldorado Park SAPS Brigadier Van Dyk says that police are still waiting for forensic reports and that a task team has been assigned to follow up on any leads in search of suspects.

Human Rights Commission public investigative hearing in Eldos soon approaching

The South African Human Rights Commission will be hosting a public investigative hearing in Eldorado Park after allegations of inequality and marginalization in the area. The hearing is scheduled to take place from October 10 – 13. The first two days will be at the JD Opperman Centre in Extension 2, and day 3 and 4 will be at the City of Joburg Chambers.

Human Rights Commission Confirms venue for hearing in Eldos

The South African Human Rights commission has confirmed a venue for its investigative hearing. The hearing was sparked by the recent housing protests in the Eldorado Park as well as the rejection of the previously principal Klipspruit West areas which has been 2 key events that have brought to surface allegations of inequality, racism and marginalization. Day 1 and 2; which is October 10th and 11th, will be taking place at the JD Opperman Centre in Eldorado Park ext. 2, while days 3 and 4 which is October 12 and 13th, will be hosted at the City of Johannesburg’s council chambers. Submissions for presentations at the hearing are closing today.

Free rabies vaccination for Eldos pets



The department of agriculture and environmental health under the city of Jo’burg will be doing rabies vaccination for animals on October 6 2017. This initiative is not only to educate and bring awareness around the deadly rabies virus, but also to bring down the numbers of rabies stats in South Africa. Bring your animals for FREE VACCINATION at the Don Mateman from 09:00 - 14:00

The South African Human Rights Commision has confirmed a venue for the public investigative hearing, which take place from October 10-13. Free rabies vaccinations for Eldos pets today

The Department of Agriculture and Environmental Health, under the city of Jo’burg , will be providing a rabies vaccination service for animals tomorrow, October 6th. This initiative is not only to educate and bring awareness around the deadly rabies virus, but also to bring down the numbers of rabies stats in South Africa. Bring your animals for FREE VACCINATION at the Don Mateman Hall from 09:00 - 14:00
