DA Premier Candidate Visits Klipspruit Community.
DA Gauteng premier candidate Solly Msimanga is visiting the Klipspruit west community 14:00 pm today. The premier candidate will also be doing a door to door campaign.


Lens South Supermarket Robbery Leaves 1 Dead and another Injured
One suspect has been confirmed dead by police following a robbery at a supermarket in Lenasia south yesterday. According to reports, 3 armed men entered the convenience store and held up a 69 year old shopkeeper prior to fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say the shopkeeper triggered the panic button which alerted security companies and patrollers of the incident, resulting in one suspect being cornered at a nearby house. Police’s Khalipa Mvula reports that a case of attempted murder inquest and business robbery is being investigated. It is also understood a suspect opened fire on the patrollers, with one patroller sustaining a gunshot wound and being rushed to hospital.
